Society
The
museum
features
exhibits
that
describe
the
past
ways
of
life
in
the
county.
A
small
collection
of
Native
American
artifacts
is
on
display.
There
are
many
examples
of
antique
cars
and
farm
equipment.
The
county
newspapers
and
Minnesota
Census
for
the
county
are
available
on
microfilm.
The
oldest
newspaper
is
the
Kittson
County
Enterprise
and
dates
from
1882.
Household
items,
memorabilia,
picture
scrapbooks,
journals
and
diaries,
and
family
histories
in
the
collection
will
enrich
your
understanding
of
the
Northern
and
Eastern
European
settlers
and
their
lives.
Admission
is
free.
Location:
The
museum
is
in
Lake
Bronson,
on
Highway
59,
twenty
miles
south
of
the
Canadian
border.
Follow
signs
from
the
highway
to
the
museum
on
the
east
side
of
town.
Lake
Bronson
State
Park
is
some
two
miles
further
east
of
Lake
Bronson.
